Original and constant with my style, that is how I have been since my first steps in the dance field in 1999.
My name is Manuel Acuña, better known as Bboy Shagi. Founder and member of the dance company 'Crazy Zoo Animals Party', nowadays known worldwide.
I was chosen as Best Bboy in 2005 at the 'Campeonato Andaluz de Break Dance' 3rd edition, organised every year by the Junta de Andalucia.
I am also member of the experimental dance american group 'Animals Farm' and the group 'Freeze Rockers', founded in Seville in 1983 and composed by well known Hip Hop people.
Since then I have attended countless events related to Break Dance and general dance, films, music videos, theatres, etc.
Main character in the feature film 'South Bboys volando en el suelo' by Mario Lobo and Alex Catalán, in 2010/2011 (not released yet).
I worked in music videos for bands like: SFDK, Las Niñas, O´funkillo, Ketama.
I have performed in TV shows like: Las mil y ulna Noches, La Banda del Sur.
I have been working since 2003 with the Brazilian choreographer Fernando Lima in many contemporary dance performances like: Jaula de grillos, Otra metarmorfosis, La guarida del conejo, Animals Party. All of them getting excellent critics from the media and always with a constant amount of performances in Spain and internationally.
I am always creative, developing my style and learning from others.
Nowadays I live in London where I am trying to step up in the artistic dance field. London is a cosmopolitan and international city which offers me a great opportunity to fulfil my dreams.
